Clinical Laboratory

The Clinical Laboratory of the Hospital Metropolitano is the only laboratory in Ecuador that is a member of the American Association of Pathology. The Lab specializes in hematology, chemistry, hormonal, tumor identification, gastroenterology, immunology, genetics, microbiology, fertility and markers. The lab also has a blood donation bank.

Histopatológico Laboratory

This department analyzes tissue to determine possible causes of disease. Cytology, histology, pathology and inmunohistoquímica are among the procedures that the clinic performs.
