Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

The resuscitation is the set of maneuvers that are performed to ensure the supply of oxygenated blood to the brain when natural mechanisms fail.

These maneuvers are executed when the absence of vital signs (breathing or pulse, or both) are detected. It is essential to perform them fast, accurate and orderly, while implementing resuscitation maneuvers on a breathing person or that has pulse, may result fatal, bringing serious internal injuries and even death.
