Intensive care unit
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) cares 24 hours a day for critically ill patients or patients with pathologies that require specialized medical care and continuous monitoring of their clinical condition.
The Unit has:
- Multidisciplinary team of qualified doctors and nurses.
- It has medical staff and nurses 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
- Direct, individualized and timely care.
- It has ten cubicles (8 intensive and 2 intermediate), all with facilities to perform hemodialysis procedures. Two of them are assigned to isolation and have negative pressure for infectious disease care.
- Necessary equipment for critical patients: ventilators, central monitoring, oxygen networks, counterpulsation balloon, intracranial pressure monitoring.
- It has direct access to the operating room area.
- Adjacent waiting room for family members.

Visiting schedule
Monday to Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. | 12h00 to 13h00 | 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A maximum of 3 family members are allowed per patient with a maximum visit of 5 minutes per person.
