Radiotherapy Unit
It provides comprehensive cancer treatment and is equipped with cutting-edge technology.
Radiotherapy constitutes, together with surgery and chemotherapy, one of the most important and effective therapeutic alternatives for the treatment of this disease.
Radiation is administered in our Unit with the highest precision through equipment called a Linear Accelerator that is capable of producing radiation safely. We have two modalities: 3D or conformal radiotherapy and IMRT or intensity modulated radiotherapy. In the same way, superficial tumors are treated with the electron modality, achieving a uniform and precise distribution over the area to be treated.
